We have put loads of twigs in with the peas on Roy's advise, stops the birds from eating them and makes them easy to pick, they are comming on well.

We have sunk some plant pots into the ground in the middle of the runner beans so the water goes straight to the root





















The runner beans are comming on well, but the slugs have helped them selves to a couple

Its been a lush day and at last the spuds have arrived, i couldnt be bothered chitting them so they have been stuck in the ground with a good smattering of rooster booster (chicken shit pellots).
